The students of Sunday school celebrated Independence Day on the 3rd of February. They dressed up representing the 4 ethnicities in Sri Lanka. During the service, they walked up the aisle in a procession holding the national flag and sang a beautiful song called, ‘we are, we are Sri Lanka’ which expresses the unity of all communities living in Sri Lanka. The day was made more exciting as they were treated to a traditional Sri Lankan meal with Kiribath and Lunu-miris.
