Rt. Rev. Paul Slater Bishop of Kirkstall in Leeds and Richard Earnshaw Communications officer of the Diocese of Leeds were present at worship on Sunday 9th February 2020. Bishop Paul was the celebrant and preacher. The two of them are part of the Sri Lanka Task Group from the Diocese of Leeds that are presently visiting Sri Lanka to explore ways and means through which the link between the Diocese of Leeds and the Diocese of Colombo and Kurunegala can be further strengthened. The Sri Lanka Task Group will travel within Colombo and also to Jaffna, Batticaloa, Kandy and Kurunegala before they return to Colombo next Sunday.
Rev. Dr. Bruce Nicholls, Secretary at Asia Theological Research and Development and Educational Consultant from the Diocese of Auckland in New Zealand also brought greetings during the service.
