Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols

The Cathedral ‘Festival of nine Lessons and Carols’ was held on Sunday 8th December 2019. The story of the fall of humanity, the promise of the Messiah, and the birth of Jesus that was told in nine Bible readings were interspersed with beautiful renditions of carols and hymns led by the choir of the Cathedral of Christ the Living Saviour. The service that commenced with the processional hymn of ‘Once in Royal David’s City’ ended by candle night with the Recessional carol ‘Silent Night’.
